SiteSee Adds Location-Specific Notes for Clearer Property Decisions

A property question becomes harder to answer when its location disappears.

A comment such as “Can this route work?” or “Is this setup approved?” is incomplete without the room, doorway, path or supporting evidence that prompted it. In email, that context is often recreated through screenshots and repeated explanation.

Distributed decision groups also work at different times. When the discussion lives outside the property view, a new participant may not know what has already been reviewed or who is responsible for the next step.

SiteSee introduced collaborative notes inside the spatial experience.

In 2024, SiteSee documented location-specific notes, initially called Threads, for asynchronous discussion within a digital property environment. A note could remain attached to the relevant place while participants added responses, mentions or approved supporting files.

Status management gave the team a way to distinguish active and completed items without removing the record. The property view became the shared reference for the discussion rather than another attachment inside it.

Customers and internal teams can continue one clearer review.

A planner can ask a question at the exact location it concerns, and the property team can answer with the same spatial context visible. Operations, sales and other stakeholders can join later without rebuilding the issue from memory.

This can reduce ambiguity and make responsibility more visible. The feature supports the decision process; formal approval still belongs to the authorized people and systems.
