The room was clear, and arrival was not
The guest understood the bed, view, and amenities. The unanswered questions concerned total fees, late arrival, parking height, the accessible entrance, breakfast timing, pet relief, and the route from the garage.
The hotel had marketed the room and left the stay operationally unfinished.
Operational detail was material content
FTC fee-rule resources, ADA Title III and lodging guidance, WCAG, and immersive research bring price, physical access, digital usability, and spatial orientation into the customer decision.
Content did not need to reproduce an operations manual. It needed to surface the facts and limitations that could change whether a guest could use the hotel as intended.
Questions followed the complete journey
Research, booking, preparation, arrival, occupancy, service recovery, and departure required different detail from one approved property. Current conditions and temporary alternatives needed dates and responsible contacts.
Clear content reduced routine uncertainty while preserving human help for personal, exceptional, or changing circumstances.
Frontline feedback continually improved the published journey. Repeated arrival calls, service-recovery cases, and inaccessible instructions identified gaps that marketing metrics missed. Operations became a source of customer content rather than the team asked to explain it after failure.
Operations entered the content lifecycle
SiteSee can connect rooms, routes, fees, policies, services, accessibility, questions, and updates across the guest journey. It develops the cross-channel consistency model.
The operating system carries current context. Revenue, reservations, accessibility, brand, and operations teams retain ownership.
Arrival became part of the room
The guest could now see the late-arrival route, garage limitation, accessible entrance, total fee, and breakfast timing beside the room decision.
The hotel had not added operational clutter. It had completed the product the guest was actually trying to book.
